The Article "Putins großer Plan" tells the story of Russia's
operations, military inventions and propaganda campaigns to enlarge
the country's power. The Eastern European countries are already under Russia's influence financially, economically and politically and
Moskow tries to increase this dependence even more. In Moldova, for
example, the socialist party promotes an alignment towards the East
by joining the Eurasion Union and receives financial support directly
from Moskow. The Russian dominance is also relevant in terms of gas, since Moldova is almost completely dependent from Russian gas imports. The elections in Moldova take place in less than a week – and on one of the campaign posters of the socialist party, voters see an image of Putin. In the end, the Moldovan citizens do not only vote for their own politicians but indirectly for or against Putin as well.
